On the President's . . .

Obviously, the right moral questions are now being asked concerning the President's true position: "Where is our compassion as a nation as we continue to subject an ailing aged man to public spectacle, ridicule and overbearing stress?"

Though we are actually not in the right position to answer it; "the cabals" should!

Back in the days when they were in the opposition, the President himself made certain public statements concerning his"brother" Late President Yar'Adua. At a point he was quoted to have urged the Senate to remove the President on health condition. Today we don't believe he is in a better state. So why not honorably do the needful.

We're not so concerned here because we all know they're doing exactly what they think is in their best interest. But whoever is in charge or whatever "the cabal" might look like should start heeding the calls they made long ago' which is now overdue;

"Yar’Adua (now Buhari) could save himself from ridicule of impeachment by resigning from office honourably.”

Today, the same scenario, if not a worst case is here. It would be honorable he resigns in the best interest of himself and the nation. That one is the truth as for impeachment, not realizable under the failed state structure.

When we consider all the implications to us as nation, we can't but keep asking more pertinent questions.
